Hiration secures nearly USD 3 Million in a funding round

California headquartered, AI-based career platform, Hiration announced that it raised nearly USD 3 Million in a funding round. The funding round was led by Venture Highway, Y Combinator and Prime Venture Partners. The startup plans to use the capital raised in scaling its operation, develop its products in the markets of India and the US. It also plans to hire talented workforces to grow the platform further. Hiration is using AI and ML to help job seekers …create resumes from scratch with little to no human intervention. Not only are these resumes much easier to create, but they are also in fact better than ones authored by humans since they are built for humans and software alike that are evaluating them for hiring positions. U.K.-based job vertical Adzuna planning $137M IPO

U.K.-based job aggregator Adzuna is planning to list on the London Stock Exchange with a valuation of up to £100 million ($137 million U.S.), according to a report in British newspaper The Telegraph. The AIM listing will be run by global asset manager Investec. The news was reported after a letter went out to 500 crowdfunding investors who invested £2 million in Adzuna in 2015 for 8% of the business. An AIM listing offers companies the chance to raise capital for future growth both at the time of the listing and through further issues at a later date. The Telegraph reports that the letter from equity investment platform Crowdcube states that Adzuna is looking for a valuation of “at least £70 million” and cites sources that suggest the final valuation will be between £80 million and £100 million.
