Are Those Popping Bubbles the Sound of Champagne or the End of the Party for AI Companies?

AI, AI everywhere and not a decent ROI to be had.  A growing number of analysts are now opining that the hype cycle around AI has reached such a level that a correction is inevitable.  Company valuations are off the charts even as AI-powered products have not yet moved from customer experimentation to consequential implementation.  In short, promised gains in productivity, decision-making, customer experience and cost savings have yet to materialize in any meaningful way.  With memories of the dot.com fiasco in 2000 lurking in the background, more and more market watchers are beginning to ask if we’re we in an AI bubble and is it about to burst?

TAtech hosted this online Thought Leaders Roundtable on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.

  • Chris Campbell, CEO Reticular Media
