Talroo Launches AI-Powered Job Title Optimizing Solution

Talroo’s just-released product, Enterprise AI-Powered Smart Job Titles, is designed to help staffing agencies attract more qualified candidates, the company said. Smart Titles uses artificial intelligence to optimize a job posting’s titles based on prevalent job searches and conversions for similar roles. Smart Titles works with any existing ATS feed, Talroo said, or with any programmatic job advertising bidding tool’s feed. The solution will help recruiters implement A/B job title tests, so that companies have more control and flexibility when attracting candidates to their open positions, the company said. “Job titles create a job seeker’s first impression,” observed Talroo CEO Thad Price. “But by thinking more like a marketer and understanding your job seeker audience, staffing companies can greatly improve their campaigns’ performances by showcasing what is important to job seekers earlier in the application process. This provides better candidate quality by refining the process and expands the reach to new audiences.”

White House AI Deal: What Big Tech Pledged—and the Biggest Omissions

The Biden administration said Friday it struck a deal with some of the biggest U.S. technology companies to manage risks posed by artificial intelligence. However, the agreement didn’t directly address how AI systems are trained, a crucial issue as AI companies face lawsuits over alleged copyright violations. The White House said the commitments were being made by seven major AI companies that met with President Joe Biden on Friday: Amazon.com, Meta Platforms, Microsoft and its investee company OpenAI, Alphabet, and the privately held firms Inflection and Anthropic. “These commitments, which the companies have chosen to undertake immediately, underscore three principles that must be fundamental to the future of AI—safety, security, and trust—and mark a critical step toward developing responsible AI,” the White House said in a statement. The most striking commitment was to develop mechanisms that would let people know when content is AI generated, such as a watermarking system. The measure could reduce the risk of deepfakes—AI-generated content that can be hard to distinguish from authentic videos, images, and audio and can lead to disinformation. It could also come as a massive relief to artists and authors who fear a tidal wave of AI-generated content flooding their industries.

ShiftPixy launches game-changing “Instant Interview” feature

ShiftPixy, Inc. (Nasdaq: PIXY) (“ShiftPixy” or the “Company”), a Miami-based disruptive worker engagement and management platform, today announced the launch of its game-changing “Instant Interview” feature, resolving a major roadblock to getting workers hired. This innovative technology allows gig workers to record a short video interview on their phone by answering a few quick questions. The shift manager then sees the gig worker’s profile and video, and says “yes” to the worker who then moves through an AI-driven, very personal experience to start their shift. The need for speed in the recruitment process has never been more important. According to data, response time is crucial as 52% of job seekers are extremely likely to move forward with the recruitment process if they hear back from the employer within 24 hours. Since virtual interviews can help reduce overall recruitment time by more than 20%, ShiftPixy’s Instant Interview feature optimizes the hiring process, allowing employers to quickly find and hire the right candidates for their needs. The technology has proven to be effective for swiftly moving quality workers to fill open shifts, providing a better, faster, and safer solution for part-time hourly shift work.

Findem Integrates Generative AI Throughout Talent Data Cloud’s Workflows

Findem launched generative AI capabilities that are implemented throughout its platform. Built on a time-ordered set of three-dimensional people and company data, Findem Talent Data Cloud will now be able to provide ChatGPT-enabled insights across the entire talent lifecycle. The company said it’s one of the first HR technology providers to embed this type of AI into its workflows. Findem generates entirely new talent data, which it calls “attributes,” from the skills, experiences and characteristics of both employees and employers across time. The company says it has substantially more data about candidates than can be found in conventional resumes or profiles. That, it said, allows the platform to leverage generative AI so effectively in hiring workflows. Because Findem’s data is exclusive, users can ask questions and get answers that wouldn’t be available anywhere else, said CEO Hari Kolam. “We’re leveraging attributes and generative AI to give talent teams the data edge and reach their top potential,” he said.
